Read & Register

Recently, our dedicated Fellows joined forces with UF libraries to host a voter registration event across multiple campus locations, including Marston, Smathers, and Library West. Through this initiative, we aimed to empower members of our community to exercise their right to vote and participate in the democratic process.

During the event, our Fellows worked tirelessly to register over 100 voters, engaging with students, faculty, and staff to ensure that everyone had the opportunity to make their voices heard. By providing information, assistance, and support, we helped individuals navigate the registration process and take an active role in shaping the future of our democracy.

The Read and Register event exemplifies our commitment to civic engagement and community outreach. By partnering with UF libraries and leveraging our collective resources, we were able to reach a broad audience and make a tangible impact on voter participation on campus.

As we continue our efforts to promote civic engagement and public service, we remain dedicated to creating opportunities for meaningful engagement and dialogue within our community. Through initiatives like Read and Register, we strive to empower individuals to become informed and active citizens who are ready to contribute to positive change in our society.
